I have a letter from the infantry record office dated 6th August 1942
stating that my father Pte. Reg Watson (No. 4122505) of the Cheshire Regiment was posted as missing on the 28th - 29th June 1942.
I have a photo of him taken inside pow camp 73 taken on the 28th Oct.1942
this was sent to my mother who lived in North Staffordshire.
A detailed report can be found in the journal of the 22nd Cheshire Regiment
' The Oak Tree' titled, Tarhuna - Under Two Flags, 1947 . (pages 158-162.)
    regards

All that i can tell you is that my father was involved in the withdrawal from Gazala to Egypt via Tobruk, where he was captured and shipped to Italy.

    Your Father

Is there anymore Geoff as your Father doesn't appear to have been a P.O.W. in Germany in 1945.
