PARKER, VINCENT Flight Lieutenant Parker was a Battle of Britain pilot (234 Squadron) who was shotdown on the August 15th 1940 and taken prisoner. He ended up in Colditz He stayed in the RAF after liberation and was killed in a flying accident whilst based at RAF Milfield (56 OTU) in Tempest EJ859

Thanks to the guys on rafcommands: WARD, MAURICE Sergeant 641509 28/11/1940 20 OTU Wellington N2884 (I shall look up the exact details later) REYNOLDS, MICHAEL VINCENT Pilot Officer 41617 2/01/1940 1 Air Armament School Westland Wallace K3911 JOSEPH, HAROLD WALTER HARRIS Leading Aircraftman 956834 17/12/1940 5 FTS. Killed in Master N7591 which crashed on take off at 0950 hours, 17/12/1940. The aircrafts wings had not been covered by frost covers during the night and resulted in a sluggish take off and then a side slip into the ground at Tern Hill. This pilot was Jewish COOGAN, JAMES STEPHEN Leading Aircraftman 1252908 7/03/1941 5 FTS. Master T8570. Crashed during an overshoot at Driffield (the unit operated a detachment there for a short while). His death is registered in Buckrose which confirms a death near Driffield. and Tome (Thorne83) has added another name
Please thank all those who contributed Kyt as it is a great help. That cuts the list down nicely. I already had Clements as 10sq. The only ones I referenced out of the 202 "Aussies in the RAF" were those I did not have a squadron for. The others I gleaned from the CWGC site after sourcing them from Geoffs search engine.
