I found this Wiki article really strong in all commonwealth and some allied squadrons under RAF operational control. Also after clicking an Australian squadron (460) it shows all Australian squadrons at the bottom. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_RAF_squadrons#Regular_RAF_Units_Series_1
Czech Squadrons in the RAF No. 310 Czechoslovak Fighter Squadron No. 311 Czechoslovak Bomber Squadron No. 312 Czechoslovak Fighter Squadron No. 313 Czechoslovak Fighter Squadron Czechoslovak Flight of No. 68 Night Fighter Squadron Czechoslovak Fighter Wing http://cz-raf.hyperlink.cz/index.html
This is a link to the offical RAF site which gives a potted history of all of the RAF sqnds that have ever been http://www.raf.mod.uk/history_old/sqn_hist.html
Aaaaaaand it's twin engine gear in/over/around the Med...not that I go on about that stuff much... Bloody good site to stumble onto at lunchtime I thought!
The site is an excellent example for others to use - and the webmaster has worked very hard on his research. I always enjoy visiting the site.
He has a go at a few books in his "sources" link for getting losses wrong etc. An authority on 211 if ever there was one!
He must have spent a furtune because quite a lot of those books are very difficult to get hold of (I've looked :cry_smile
This one seems to cover quite a lot. To access some info you need to register with the site, but it seems to be quite informative. http://www.rafweb.org/index.htm
