    It's great to see such support for the troops.

    No matter what one thinks of the politics of our current commitments in Iraq and Afghanistan (and I am against such commitments) we all know that the troops are doing an extremely difficult job, with inadequate governmental support.

    Well done Wootton Bassett, and other twons up and down the country who have shown that they care for the men and women who are out there :clapping:

    This is a quote I used on one of my Honour Rolls .....

    "To be forgotten - that is what I most dread. Never to have happened would not matter, but to have happened, to have walked the world, laughed, loved, created and then be treated as though we had never lived, there lies the sting of death"
    - Diary of a Boer War soldier

    And I think Wootton Bassett is showing that our soldiers are not forgotten !!

    Good for them !! :clapping::clapping:
