I really do despair. If it's not one bunch of nutters over there then its another. And in the middle, just incase things appear to be going quiet, are the criminal gangs that make the mafia look like a bunch nursery school teachers :frusty:

Like India doesn't have enough problems :mad2:

Am really glad Jodi is back as she transitted through Mumbai on the weekend. However, my heart goes out to those caught up in the violence.

Some of Jodi's colleagues are due to head to Mumbai on the weekend. No word of cancellation yet.

Where would we be without religious extremists, eh? Oh, I know, living together relatively happily!

Andy glad to hear that Jodi is home safe. Surely her colleagues' trips will be cancelled?
Ask me again why I am an atheist!!!

A very sad state of affairs. We have a lad at work who is due back from five weeks holiday after visiting his family. Will have to wait until Monday to see if he is okay.

I hope so, CT, as it will set a precedent for Jodi's trips next year.

I guess there's always going to be people in opposing camps, as it were. I mean, even in our "game" we've got the Mustang fans and the Spitfire fans. What was best? Who knows but let's argue the crap out of it and a small minority will get very worked up and hot under the collar, lose their civility and start making personal attacks. It's the same with everything, there's always a very small minority who interpret things their own way and feel they are hard done by enough to take action against those who dare to have an opposing view. All religions, sports etc are guilty of such reactions.

But then you find yourself thinking "One of these days, we'll all live together happily and with understanding." The thing is, though, is that this won't happen while there's communities that we don't see eye to eye on how they treat their people or the opportunities they have available etc. We all may come to some sort of an understanding. You never know. It'd be nice.
