I am going to stay at Alimos, Nr Athens over the Christmas period, and have recently discovered that the Phaleron War Cemetery is very near to where I will be staying.

If anyone would like me to see if I can find a headstone for any of their relatives or if not a stone but a mention of them on a memorial plaque please contact me - if I find them I could take pic and let you have it upon my return home

Welcome aboard, EAC, and thanks for the very kind offer. Spidge will certainly be in touch with you as he is collating all of the RAAF deaths for the war.

Hi EAC, glad you made it over :)

Thank you for the offer. If no one should take up your offer before your visit, please do do take some pics anyway and share them with us. I know you can't take all 1500 grave pics, but it would be nice to see some general ones.

    Hi EAC !

If by any chance you happen to see any graves of soldiers who fought in the Crimean War - I'd be grateful to see them !!
( only if you see them - don't go searching and losing your valuable vacation time !! )

    Thanking you in advance

    Annie :)
