You beat me to it, Annie. I was just reading this on the BBC site. I bet the next round of research will prove this wrong but until then it is interesting. I was particularly interested by the sugar and hyperactivity research. Seems to be the perceptions of the parents rather than any chemical affects. But considering the media hype in the 1980s and 90s about how bad sugar is for children, I'm not surprised that parents make this link
