Beware if you have visited the GWF yesterday as they had found a virus in their system. This morning I found a message from my virus protection site that they had found and stopped a virus from entry into my computer.
They've been off line nearly all day John ! good job you've got good protection ! I guess they've got a job on to get it fixed ! :noidea:
Hi John, I have just edited the thread title to make it clear who has been affected. The advice seems to be to not even visit the forum until one gets the all clear. It does send my security package pinging like mad, and I have a very tight system. So be careful everyone.

Still cant understand why its down so long and why they need to contact IPS about it, its a simple injection script, remove the script and fix the issue. Obviously no techs on the site.
That figures - I also got a message from Norton saying an attack on my PC had been blocked, shortly after visiting the GWF site. Stupidly, I didn't realise the connection until now. John - so are you a regular on the GWF? I can't remember seeing you there; do you use the same name? I hang around mainly in the War in the Air section, so if you're elsewhere I may not have seen you. Adrian
Yes I do go to GWF very regular. I use John Rice and the boxer avatar. I only read what I think I would be interested in. WW2 is my favorite as it is easy going and no one argue's. It covers a wide range of topics also John
