I heard that. Feeling even better about the scan of the book that just arrived that I emailed to you! Mwahahahaha. To be honest, I don't think I've ever had a drink with an umbrella in it! Sheltered (haha) life, I know. I'm sure they're good to put behind your ear in place of a frangipani flower...where's that tropical island emo? :noidea:
I'm sure this'll turn up on a fake ID somewhere...sucks to be them. :Booty: LOL, you can still see where my sunglasses were on my head. You know, sunglasses...those things you wear when the SUN IS SHINING...as it does often down here...
Actually, Geoff, it was Thursday, so you're right. I land her on the grassed median strip on the road outside our office. Heck of a way to avoid rush hour... Reminds me of a good story. Well, a short one anyway. My first flight in a Tiggie was in one I had helped restore with a mate whose business is restoring old aeroplanes. I had come into the thing with about six months left in the resto. Anyhoo, we taxied out and I was sitting there wondering why my goggles kept riding up my face. I tightened them and hunkered down in the seat more to get out of the propwash but that didn't work. I finally realised that I had a big, stupid grin on my face and my cheeks were pushing the goggles up! Was magic, we tooled around and then did a loop over the field followed by a hell of a wingover which then led into more wingovers. I think the silly grin is back!
I occassionaly spend time at a benidictine monastary near to Elgin. It free and they throw in food! Anyway, its out in country and the monks have a standing joke, if more than two cars pass the monastary at the same time then its the "rush hour"!
I carry a pair of sunglasses in my work bag, but I have not had the opportunity to use them this year! Its been cloudy and dull most of the year! There is always next year!
It is only early Spring here in Melbourne however the days have been magnificent. Can't wait for daylight saving.
