Snowflakes

Woohoo, they're back! :common001:

 

We have them for real too. The forest behind us looks beautiful!

 

we got snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I'm fed up with it !!!!!! ... interrupted all my plans it did !!!!!!!!

And cold too !!

 

Me like snow, very rarely get it

 

You all are lucky in P.A here it is a rainforest in the winter. We used to have winters but now we have rain. There has not been a snow worth even talking about it has only snowed let me think twice maybe three times , the best snow was 2 and three quarter inches of snow. It has rained I don"t know 12-18 times. And when it snows it rains imediately. And when it does rain it freezes and makes it miserable.:cc_hang::ballchain::lock1::gossip:

 

It has been a while since we had a White Christmas, maybe 5 years.:brick::cell:

 

I was 4 when we last had snow at christmas. That was 25 years ago. Very rare to get snow now, and never more than an inch.

 

It snows usualy 1 good snow in Feb. or March. hone: Well see about this year.

 

I miss those big snowfalls we got as a kid.

 

Alot of people say that here in Pennsylvania they remember when it realy used to snow.:dwarf:

 

I've heard that roads used to be blocked here in the 60's. Not fair dammit!

 

A mate at work today was telling me in the late fifties that some places in Lincolnshire were seven foot under snow!!!!

 

Who do we complain to about the lack of snow?

 

We had 18" of snow and ice over Christmas. Got snowed in and couldn't head over to my parents until that Saturday.

I know 18" doesn't sound like much but when its all ice and you have nothing but hills its a bit treacherous. Still took me an hour to shovel off the car on Saturday before we could leave. We haven't had that much in several years.

Was pretty though. I like the snow.

Snow is very cool, especialy if you are in the woods and everything is white.

 

Another reason is the noise level drops dramaticly.
