A nice little tribute to a member of Bomber Command from Ceylon who flew 52 Operations: http://members.iinet.net.au/~tcosgrove/rohan.html

well, even the Aussies do something right every so often :becky: It is a fantastic site - I can't believe I hadn't seen it before.
Definately agree on that Spidge. Australia has the best WW2 information made available by any Commonwealth government. Just the number of databases to check on service personnel is amazing. Why can't the UK get its act together :frusty: E.g the Australian Roll Of Honour has a much better search engine than the CWGC
Not perfect as I found out with the RAAF search however cross referencing them with the Nominal roll, I only have five question marks out of 10,835 deaths. Speaking of the CWGC, I found three errors while doing the cataloguing (cemetery details) and the CWGC here have passed them on to HQ in London. Will have to check to see if they have been corrected.
Good luck - they can be a bit slow, as I found when noticing wrong squadron details. However, the IWM is great for correcting captions on their photos (provided the right evidence is given)
