Hmm, yes, that awful meaning has become common here too. Actually, stubbie is from my student days - it meant those last few milimetres of cigarette before the filter that is normally stubbed out. Stubbies were what one dug out of the ashtray (our own mind you) in the middle of the night when one was working on an essay and ran out of ciggies.
Oh, Australian wine. OK I take back the la-di-da. Yes, I suppose one would have to decant to get rid of that great "Coonawarra soil" - do you strain it too eep:
teehee - but then again, I'm not a fan of any wines so maybe not the best person to pass comment. So that's a no on the straining then - is that why some wines are called full-bodied?
Nope, meant sedimentary - isn't that where everything settles to the bottom..............oh boy, I asking for trouble now.
Ah yes. Many a good hour spent wearing those and occasionally wishing they were a tad longer. Eeek, images of Warwick Cappa just popped into my head. Now I;ve gotta do a brain dump to get rid of them...shouldn't take long.
Hmm, where I sneak into in the middle of the night is my own business ...... Hotel D'Morgue is a lovely little spot for meeting interesting people.
Andy, just as well you're several thousand miles away or you'd go deaf from my screaming at that image of you and the shorts
Hasn't he turned into an absolute disgrace. My house backs onto the Medical Centre that Dr Eddleston had when he owned the Sydney Swans. All decked out in pink!
