    Hi,
I have started an e petition on the Number 10 website and would appreciate your help.
It is to " Reverse the decision made by DEFRA not to award medals posthumously."
My dear Mum was in the Land Army and sadly passed away before DEFRA decided to award them for their war efforts. Hilary Benn was quoted in the Timesonline as saying " The women worked tirelessly for the benefit of the nation and deserved to be recognised" I feel families should be given the option to apply for these medals should they wish to. As is the case with the Bevan Boys.
Please sign this if you agree.
The link they sent me isn't brilliant, go to www.Number10 .gov.uk, communicate them e-petitions, mine starts with "Reverse the dedision" etc. Started on Nov 5th by Debbie Hawes.
I hope you can all help.
Huge thank you to the moderators for allowing me to post this

    Hi Dee,

Will people from other countries be allowed to vote on this one?

    Cheers

Spidge me dear I am sure you can get round it somehow... Do you have any UK friends (like me for instance) who would let you use their UK address as a c/o... You have my permission if you want it!
