arrrggghhhh - still no actual date!! :frusty: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/leicestershire/7049694.stm
She was apparently moving under her own power very recently so the first flight can't be far away. Would be truly magnificent to see.
I hope they televise it and broadcast it on national TV, it would be a very good thing to see! Imagine for a minute, the four lightnings from South Africa and the Vulcan flying in a formation!
Morse, presumably you've seen them fly in the past. Don't they just make concorde sound like a purring pussy cat in comparison? I remember the post-Falklands flypast. I think I was deaf for a week.
aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh :frusty: The story has been updated: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/leicestershire/7049694.stm A Vulcan bomber has flown again after years of restoration work by engineers in Leicestershire.
Video!!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/...0C0C0&nbram=1&lang=en&bbram=1&ms3=4&size=16x9 I can't get it to work as don't have the right plug ins. Apparently it was live on Sky News as well.
Oh god that is AMAZING! Kyt, you need Real Player, and when it opens it will shrink your screen, DO NOT maximise it or the video will keep stopping.
It's Andy who can't see it (I've PM'd him the link for the latest RP download). I've recorded the roar and it's now my ringtone.
I was just watching the flight on Sky news on the very large screen in the works canteen! It was awesome! No doubt it will be available on the BBC site!
