Doesn't take a brain surgeon to guess which one does it?

I think you are right David they could have made a lot more and exposed themselves to less risk by going to the press, particularly abroad.

Still happier with this system than a President Blair though!

My first thoughts was that it was Prince Harry that was involved - no doubt trying to live up to his predessor Henry V or at least the shakespear version.

However, the BBC has said that it is a minor royal that is invovled.

Guess it does for me as I have no idea. Still my knowledge of who's who in the royal family is limited too.

According to Google News a name is being bandied around in internet chat rooms, none that I frequent!

Are we presuming the alleged is male?

According to the BBC many people will ask Who? when they hear the name, therefore it is a minor royal, one without a HRH title.

The royal has been identified as Viscount Linley!

Shame on you Kyt! Some of us never grow up!!

    Apologies to Harry!

Guess the conspiracy theorists will construe this as a way to deflect some heat from the Diana inquest (like that is really going to point the finger at the establishment!).

Zzzzzz! Zzzzzzzz (still prefer them to President Blair though)

No comment on older reprobates CTNana :becky:

But the articles all seem to imply a younger member.

And with Harry - it may all be going on but he's never been caught :>

I wanna be there to watch!

Linley? Oh dear God, who the hell would want to go near him?

And as to Harry, if he is involved in shooting those Hen Harriers then I hope he gets a bloody good kicking for it.

NO one will be charged after the alleged shooting of two protected birds of prey on one of the Queen country estates where Prince Harry had been shooting.

The Crown Prosecution Service, which oversees cases in England and Wales, said there was insufficient evidence to bring charges over the deaths of two hen harriers at Sandringham.

It said the birds' bodies had not been found and there was no forensic or ballistic evidence.

Police interviewed three people during the investigation.

Royal officials confirmed that 23-year-old army officer Harry and a friend were in the area at the time but had no knowledge of the incident.

They did not say whether the young royal was among those questioned.

CPS lawyer Andrew Baxter said: "I am satisfied the police investigation has been thorough and there are no other areas of investigation which can be pursued.''

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and the Natural England conservation body said they were disappointed with the decision as the British hen harrier population has declined markedly since the 19th century.

Only 20 pairs of hen harriers are thought to survive in England.
