The forum's Arcade is a service available to those members who have shown themselves to be valid and valued contributors. It is meant to be a bit of fun in addition to the forum.......


.....and should NOT be seen as the sole reason for joining.

Attempting to circumvent the system by posting jibberish just to increase ones count will NOT be tolerated. Such behaviour will result in immediate suspension, and probable banning.

Why not send the offenders an email to warn them. I play the arcade games every day. Is it me who is the offender???

The offender has received an message, and a ban for now.The message was for anyone else considering the same actions.

No it was not you As I have said, members who contribute to the forum in an appropriate manner are free to enjoy the arcade. And we all know you have made good posts, so no need to worry

John i promise you are fine. The offender was behaving in a very trollish behaviour, making posts of random letters in order to reach the minimum number required to get arcade access.

When it takes two mods to corral the posts and delete before he reached the requirement, then you know they are acting in a manner not accepted on this forum.

You my friend are a very welcome member of this site.

It's still available John. It's now on the side panel. If the Navigation panel looks empty then there should be a + sign. Click on that to expand it

 

Pardon me Kyt while I give myself a slap around the ears for being so dumb as to miss that it was in the navigation panel. I shall now go and hide my head in shame

No war hawk, we were NOT saying that you or anyone could not comment on this thread.

I started this thread to warn prospective members that access to the arcade was NOT A VALID REASON to join WW2Chat.

Having said that, only a few members play the games. That is absolutely fine if they are good contributers like John. But this is also not a thread for the discussion of the merits or otherwise of the games themselves.

You can make comments in the allocated space in the game itself.

Sorry to be a pain in the butt.
Has it always been a rule that you must make a post before you can play a game in the arcade ?? I haven't struck this message before and now I will know to place a post first.

I haven't played games for ages, too scared to start again very additive and makes my lap top slow.
