    considering how few of these planes were made this is a great accomplishment

    Is the Zuccoli Boomer still airworthy? What's not obvious with the 'new' oomer is that there is a second seat behind the pilot and the way the glazing folds back to accomodate this modification is a work of art.

    The ranks of flying Boomerangs will swell considerably in the next few years as there's several projects that are approaching completion.

    This newest Booerang has a VERY well concealed rear seat as well . :)

    Sorry, Owen, that's the Boomer I was referring to. Should have split it from my comment re the Zuccoli airframe.

    I have a soft spot for Bomerangs as it was the first war bird model i put together and luckily it was a large model. Mum still had it in a cupboard but i think my sister through it out when she cleaned up the house after the old dears death. Man it would be old if i hada kept it, it would be over 35 years old now, so was at least 25 years old and completely complete when ma passed.
