OK folks, if you ever get anything like this in your PM's or emails, and especially from someone you do not know, delete it immediately, in fact if you can don't even open the email if you have your suspicions. Certianly do not click any links in it. If you do get anything else suspcious then please inform the Mod team of the person who has sent the email/PM and we will delete them immediately.
I confirm Bergamas' experience.I have deleted the message. Thanks to Eset NOD 32 antivirus and anti spyware I don't believe these messages. Please, stay out of these phishing messages.
I checked on the memebers list and the names were not there, so deleted the messages, and did not click on the links, infact I contacted Lee as I was suspicious.
LadyXAdmin is such a slut - I thought it was just me she was after! Got this pm dated 18 at 1.28pm: "Dear, Jerome! A virus alert was noticed on your computer. We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately: xxxx://antivirus.effectmeds.com/xxxxxx ---------------------------------------------------- Sincerely, Forum Administration ww1talk.co.uk." Their english is certainly improving; but thank goodness for a small forum - at least we know the Mods.
A new security update is now in place, hopefully this will resolve the situation, however I stress that with any forum its impossible to keep everyone out! But we do try our very best. From this point on no new member may send a personal message unless they have made at least 3 forums posts, and if they do and are spam they will be deleted before they can get to the pm stage. Lee
