It seems that there are references to this regiment in every book I've read that has anything to do with the Northern campaigns of either the Revolution or the War of 1812. Does anyone know of any good battalion/regimental histories? I would be interested in a printed book, not an electronic source.
Yanky In the British Brigade list of units there is an 8th Regiment of Foot. It has two listings which mean most likely that there are two units doing the same regt.
