I always find it a little strange when British people wish Americans Happy 4th July. Its like wishing a ex a happy anaversary on the day they broke up with you.
Even though it's a few days after the 4th, but what did everyone do for their 4th? I went to the local lake in my town to watch fireworks.
Greatest analogy I've ever heard to describe that! I guess I could get friendly with an ex too if it had been hundreds of years!
Yeah, it can be seen like that, but it also shows that they continue to brother countries and actually these days they are strong allies "running" the world...
