Hey guys, I have heard a lot about the influence of V2 on later rocket development, but I am really interested to hear from somebody knowledgable, how much did the V2 design influence later US and USSR balistic missiles and the space race?

The biggest influence was the race by the Americans and the Russians to capture the scientists responsible for the development of them, they were quickly ushered away.
