Do you think this could ever actually results into a millitary operation or will it always be sabre rattling? I think the country will collapse for other, possibly internal, reasons.
Will none of the Generals do in the Leader? Like Stalin his paranoia leads him to get rid of anyone he suspects. What would happen to North Korea if someone ,or a conspiracy, killed the Leader? Chaos or orderly continuation?
I think it is possible. Likely? Probably not. However, with the young nutbag that is running the country now, and the fact they have crude atomic weapons, I fear tensions will continue to rise. Allied Forces (likely South Korea, the US, and maybe Japan and Australia) would likely emerge victorious, but the peninsula would be turned into a charnel house.
