This is the last paragraph of this piece ... and it makes me want to weep at the injustice of it ! The Forgotten Few: Polish Airmen Fought During the Battle of Britain » HistoryNet
That article seems to have used this book as its basis. It's a book that look good but I have been holding because of the price/page count ratio. May have to recoonsider The Forgotten Few: The Polish Air Force in World War II: Adam Zamoyski: Amazon.co.uk: Books I would also highly recommend For Your Freedom and Ours: The Kosciuszko Squadron - Forgotten Heroes of World War II. Though it focuses on 303 Squadron, that is more a device to highlight the general experiences of all Polish airmen who fought in the RAF and then PAF.
I keep coming across this book while hunting cheap copies of Doug Hurst's The Forgotten Few (RAAF in Korea).
This is a few months old ... but ..... !! Hurricane Mk1 No L1696 back at RAF Northolt Hurricane Mk1 No L1696 back at RAF Northolt - Uxbridge Gazette
