First 100 degree reading of the year today. Summer has arrived!

I'm slightly ashamed to say that I'm not sure Victoria, where I live now, would not remain as stiff an upper lip as West Oz when temps get that high. Over west, last year, we had two weeks worth of 35+ in a row. Was an Australian record for a capital city until Adelaide went through almost a month of it earlier this year.

 

The forecast says the Max temp for today is 16! Nothworth removing my anorak as I sit at my computer!

 

It's 15-17 degrees in NZ now. It's officially winter over here.

I see that you posted your message at 1840hrs, kiwi time! it is now, 1340 UK time and it is still freezing!
