Hi all , i am the youngest son of the late B F Mclean ( Ben ) , who served with the 131st field Reg City of Glasgow RA from 1941 to 45 , and then the 208th Field Reg RA from 45 to 47 in India. He was in 319 battery 'A' troop ( 25 pdrs ) in the 131st and 608/609 battery ( 25 pdrs ) in the 208th in India. I am particularly interested in any recollections of Belsen as i know some of the 131st were transported their as witnesses, and i am also interested in the 208th's time in Burma , albeit brief. Their is a website for the 131st Field Regiment City of Glasgow RA , which has the regiments war diaries on it , but they are very matter of fact and not too detailed as you can imagine , so any recollections at all would be great
