G'day not yet been released however the news doing the rounds of dome high quality military member's only site's' down in OZ is that 4RAR Commando will finally be disbanded and the colours laid up. The x 4RAR Commandos will now be known as 1st Btn 2nd Commando Regiment, leaving 1 Commando as Reserves with a small Reg Cadre I allways thought they should of been Commando Squadrons and part of the Commando Regiment right from start, apparently when 4RAR was delinked from 2/4RAR that they knew they were to be Commandos' why they weren't sent over to 1 or 2 commando etc, is a mystery to me
