No matter how many times I hear this it sends the shivers up my spine.

This is an unusual performance from a young lady.

She has music in her soul. Would dearly love to hear her play at the Menin gate.

 

Very unusual but nice all the same.

 

I still prefer the "Prewett" version that was played in the movie "From Here to Eternity" but this is still quite an emotional piece.

 

Heres a couple of boys that do a good job also .... I love Echo Taps !! usually theres at least 4 .... but it still "gets" to me every time !!

I agree it's very nice.
At the same link the version showing a U.S. seaman next to the Stars and Stripes, ( Il Silenzeo, Caerleonborn) more to my liking, and thanks for pointing to an excellent link.
