Gareth Branlat, Albert played for France Internationals: 3: 1906 NZ- (1c) E- ; 1908 W- Albert Branlat was born on 15 November 1878 in Saint-Vivien-de-Médoc Played as a Forward for: Racing Club de France, Stade Bordelais Université Club Profession: Painter and fashion designer War service: Served as an officer Remarks: Born to a respected family in Bas-Médoc. His father was a magistrate in Bordeaux, where he studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. He worked as a fashion designer in Bordeaux and Reunion, where he ran the Samont fashion house. He died in 1943 in Mauritius.
Albert Branlat played rugby for France - born 15 November 1879 in Saint-Vivien-de-Médoc and died in 1943. He played Prop, Lock and second line at Racing Club de France and SBUC - he was also selected three times for the French team. He played the first two official matches of the French team in 1906 and a test match in 1908.
