    This is one of a series of posts to mark the international Rugby players who died during The Great War. If anyone has further information on the men concerned, I’d be most grateful if it could be added to the thread.

    Eutrope, Albert Victor played for France

    Internationals: 1 : 1913 I-

    Albert Eutrope was born on 10 January 1888 in Cayenne, French Guiana.

    Played as a Prop for: Sporting Club Universitaire de France

    Profession: Colonial Administrator

    War service: Sous-Lieutenant, 6ème Colonial Infantry?

    Remarks: He was 173 cm tall, and weighed 69.4 kg.

    He was killed in action when shot in the head on 26 May 1915 at Masseng, Cameroon.

    Albert Victor Eutrope was born on 10 January 1888 to Guyanese parents in Cayenne.
