I found this wonderful poster on the excellent Przemysl site ! http://przemysl.blogspot.com/ All of the leaders of the Central Powers - the Germans, Austro-Hungarians, and Turks - with the Kaiser front and center
I would like to know who's the guy in the red with the 3 other guys one sitting down holding a map, is he the caption or lieutenant .
Wow that's a pretty cool picture. Is it legit or just something someone drew up? Do you know who drew or painted it?
It's interesting how in schools we are never taught who the leaders were in World War I, aside from Woodrow Wilson. In fact, we don't even learn about any notable generals or leaders like we did in World War II. We mainly focused on how barbaric trench warfare was and how meaningless the causes of the war were. I wonder why this is. I guess it's easier to get the student's attention because it was easy to personify Good vs. Evil in World War II.
