Hi All, This side cap is in excellent+ condition and comes with a letter from John Angolia which states it is genuine. The year 1940 can be seen stamped lightly inside the lining but it can be seen with the naked eye. No moth nips, rips or tears. A confident buy at only $1,000! Thanks for looking. Joe
