Drinking my coffe ..... doing my morning tour ... I found this on another site ..... !! Made me splutter it did ......
Pffft that's not a real Aussie tree - if it was then it would be hanging from the ceiling and have corks on string rather than baubles. And it wouldn't be a fairy but a tinnie on top (or bottom) :becky:
That's not an Aussie tree as my mother-in-law hasn't been anywhere near it yet! She's decorating our tree for us (first one for us as we're not travelling to Melbourne for the holidays...we live here now!) because if we decorate it, she'll rearrange the decorations! Is there a Christmas tradition about finding a glass decoration on the tree so you can be the first to open a present? I thought it was the magic beer stubby but I might be wrong... Our tree will have to have a barricade around it as well once the presents are there as Milly (2.5 kgs of poodle puppy, 100% poodle - 25% rhino, 25% bulldozer, 25% cannon ball and 25% pirahna) will discover the paper and decide to do the environmentally friendly thing and shred it for recycling...before we've opened the presents.
I see no problem with this. I saw that upsidedown tree in John Lewis (I occaisionally go there to lower the tone). I didn't realise it was £75!
