    Thousands of people have joined some of the veterans of the Berlin Airlift in marking the 60th anniversary of the end of the Russian blockade.
    Over the course of 11 months, planes from the western nations landed every two minutes with vital supplies for the 2.25 million people in the city, cut off from the rest of Europe by Stalin.
