    This song was written bt Mike Harding (the comedien) in tribute to his father Flt Sgt Louis Arthur Harding, navigator in 9 Squadron. Killed on the night of the 24th September 1944, when his Lancaster LL901 'WS-V' was lost over Holland.

    T/O 19.02 from Bardney tasked to attack the airfield at Handorf. Cause of loss not established. Crashed 00 15, approxiamately 1km W of the Laren to Holten road in the Dutch Province of Gelderland, and on the E side of Deventer. The aircraft was carrying a Tallboy

    I have it on mp3 on my computer! The album, has some very moving anti-war songs
