Boozer

    I was reading some Orbs and came across this "No “Boozer” indications." can anyone enlighten me as to what "Boozer" was?

    DL, it was an early attempt at a radar warning receiver i.e. when the aircraft was "painted" by a ground-based or aerial radar.

    Kyt will have a much more detailed explanation.

    As Andy says it was an early warning system to warn the crews that enemy radar was tracking, or trying to, track them. If he didn't pick up any indications then he was very lucky, because it was overly sensitive:
