    Hi kimcarson and welcome !! :)

    So tell us a little bit about this book .... why do you think it's a good one ??

    Well, rather than just being a straight history book, almost half of it is taken from the diary of a British captain who was there, with the background and general narrative written by his son. There are also about 10 pages of maps, including a couple of contemporary Japanese ones.

    Also, it's not too long!
