This is nice isn't it ?? :clapping:

Called the “war to end all wars,” World War I saw over 65 million soldiers go into battle. Nearly 10 million never returned home. In honour of our fallen soldiers, the Mint is commemorating this 90th anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I with these special Poppy keepsakes.

PLUS out of the $48,000 our Legion Branch collected on Poppy sales there was over $2,500 in the special box for the POPPY QUARTERS. All of those quarters went back into distribution to raise more money for next year.

I heard this year that POPPY SALES are a Canadian event? I always assumed that every allied country did that - am I mistaken?

We certainly do it down here, Richard, and Kitty was selling them in England.
