I'm not quite sure what they are on about - "restoring" this aircraft. She has been on display for years, and I very much doubt if they are intending to get her flying. Presumably they just mean a good clean up and corrosion inhibition - she was looking a little tatty when I last saw her.
I'd say that's what they're doing, AR. Her various tidy-ups will probably be stripped back. You never know, they might discover some history they didn't already know. No chance of her flying but a restoration to flying standard but with original equipment would ensure the highest standards (not that the RAFM doesn't operate at those levels already).
