    Heres a piece of trivia ........

    At the time of the invasion, it was fashionable for young women to carry small, mostly knitted berets or capis - not long after the occupation (we are talking days) the first berets in red white and blue became all the rage among the girls/women ..... for those of you not familiar with the significance I can tell you that quite by 'accident' the berets look exactly like RAF recognition symbols when seen from above !!
