Everythng I seem to read about this character has me thinking various things, the nicest of which is "w*nker".

His target on this occasion was a man who was being hilarious eons before him...and whose work is still funny which is probably more than can be said for what people will think of Brand in years to come.

Russell Brand could be charged over prank call | NEWS.com.au Entertainment

Perhaps if I knew more about him but he even looks like a w*nker!

I certainly don't. I think they should have left him in the junkies clinic somewhere.

He thinks he's being clever and subversive with his humour but infact just draws more attention to the fact that he just a very troubled young man. He is already under investigation for possibly wasting police time over a call he made during one of his shows alleging to have seen a wanted criminal.

I think there are elements of talent in his satire but his shock tactics are just a lazy way of using it.

So, at the end of the day, I have to agree with Andy's sentiments.

He does nothing for me either.

Does the comedy that we like say more, or as much, about us as it does the comedian?

Americans are only just starting to appreciate British humour ..... but when Brand was on a talk show here .... there was very little laughter ... more like a nervous titter I'd say !!

I just want to get the brush whenever I see him and do something with that hair !!!!!!!!!!!!

personally i think he is a disgusting, egotistical nasty little creature that wants putting out of the misery of the human race.

    So, an oxygen thief, Kitty?

Can you imagine someone like this trying to match wits with the likes of Billy Connolly (who is so much more than a comedian anyway)?

Given that our latest two exports to the USA are Ricky Gervais and Little Britain, I think the Americans are going to be disappointed, if not offended.

I doubt very much that he will stand the test of time.

Shock jock and not much talent.

No talent whatsoever. And the BBC has issued a formal apology to the family, and Jonathan Ross has written to apologise. Nothing from the little worm Brand yet.
