    This is one of a series of posts to mark the international Rugby players who served in, and survived, The Great War. If anyone has further information on the men concerned, I’d be most grateful if it could be added to the thread.

    This one is a real mystery man. Apparently a serving British soldier who somehow played for France. Presumably he would have served in the Great War.

    He played for Inter-Nos in the 1894 French Championship final against Stade Francais in which Stade won 18-0. He is noted as becoming a Colonel in the British Army by French rugby historians.
