There are very many fine local Early American Wars Preservation Groups and unfortunately many sites not noted , marked , or being lost to urban sprawl due to their locations . There is no group similar to the CWPT bringing this to the attention of congress , Department of Interior , or moneyed groups to assist in preservation efforts in a bigger picture efforts . In my travels I have met many dedicated people working to preserve and teach the significance of would occurred in these hallowed grounds . We are showing interest in our early hertatage we should also support the grass roots efforts to preserve these sites . As I hear of efforts I will inform the group I hope others will as well . Tony
