    Emile Lesieur was born on 16 September 1885, in Paris.

    Played as a Centre/wing for: Stade Français

    Profession: Companies administrator

    War service: Served – unit n/k; Légion d’Honneur and Medaille Militaire.

    Remarks: French 100m and 400m champion.

    EMILE LESIEUR
    Equalled the unofficial world 100 metres record by running 10.8 sec on 6 May 1906, at St Cloud. He won the French Championship with Stade Francais in 1903 and 1908 and was runner-up in 1906. He played 12 times for France, scoring their first try against England in 1906. He won French titles at 100, 200 and 400 metres.
