    Eric Assinder was born on 29 August 1888

    Played as a Centre for: King Edward’s School Birmingham, Old Edwardians, Midland Counties

    Profession: Medicine. Director of the VD Department at Birmingham Hospital 1924.

    War service: Captain, Royal Army Medical Corps

    Remarks: Played for Combined Midlands and East Midlands Counties (16-5) v the 1908-1909 Wallabies, scoring a try for the home team.

    He died on 11 October 1974
