What is your favorite WWII aircraft and why? Mine is the P-51D Mustang. This plane is sleek and sexy. I don't think I've seen a better looking airplane. I'm a pilot, but I've yet to fly one. I hope one day I will be able to at least get thirty minutes at the controls. These aircraft are becoming more rare and costly. I see them selling for millions of dollars.
