Veterans Kyt, I feel so much that could have been recorded for posterity is no longer available. What a pity the man didn't get the inspiration years ago. The I.W.Ms. Audio Collection could also have been more comprehensive if it had been started even ten years earlier. Over the past 16yrs I have lost most of my Ex P.O.W. Contacts, but fortunately I talked to all of them in depth about their experiences. Brian
Unfortunately peoples' awareness is often only triggered when news articles mention "the last survivor of X" or "few remaining members of Y" or "Z group finally getting recognition". And as I have found on geneological sites, the veterans often didn't even tell their families what they did or experienced.
