Gareth Gowlland, Geoffrey Cathcart played for Scotland Internationals: 7 : 1908 W- ; 1909 W- E+ ; 1910 F+ (1t) W- I+ E- Geoffrey Gowlland was born on 27 May 1885 Played as a Forward for: Fettes College, RMA Sandhurst, Royal Engineers, The Army, London Scottish Profession: The Army War service: Captain, Royal Engineers. Assistant Director, Military Works Department, Egyptian Army. Awarded Fourth Class Order of the Nile 31 August 1917. Remarks: Played for the Officers of the Army v the Officers of the Royal Navy in February 1907 (14-15), 1909 (0-25), 1910 (10-19), 1913 (8-18) and 1914 (26-14), as well as for Combined Navy and Army (6-8) v the 1908-1909 Wallabies. He died on 9 October 1980
