Hi, just looked in from another ww2 forum site. Think I'll stay a while, you have a pretty good site going on here. But me: Ex UK forces, most of family served in many conflicts including both ww's. Semi retired. Interested in anything military, particularly Zulu wars, 1940 period and years leading up to ww2.
Welcome Urgh. I've only ever read one book about the Zulu wars, and of course watched Zulu many times, so will be interested in anything you may post in the pre-1939 forum.
Welcome urgh, I have to admit to watching Zulu "quite" a few times myself. I also have an interest in the Aussies who were part of the RAF pre war and the BoB as well as the thousands who died in Bomber/Coastal Command etc. Throw in North Africa and the Pacific and that should keep us going for a while. Look forward to some interesting threads. War is unpleasant however they have to be fought! Cheers
RAF 1976 - 1984, remuster RMP 1984-1991. I got bored...Well the brother was in 2 para and I had to live up to him. As the youngest always does...Another fine mess you got me into....
Teehee least you were in the correct service and none of these cocktail party boaters or donkery wallopers
Hello there Shooter/Colonel Klink ... Just like the world, it would seem the World Wide Web is also a small place...:happy:
