Hi Folks Here's a link to a French TV piece about the ceremony in Guillemont a few weeks back to honour the three VC winners (Holland, Hughes & Jones)...one of whom (Thomas Hughes) was my father's uncle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQVZTOXb0kI Best wishes Peter Hughes

Peter, My PC doesn't have speakers - which makes it a bit of a challenge to understand the video. It's great these brave men are remembered in Guillemont almost a century later. I'm a bit surpised that CSM George Evans of 16th Bttn. Manchester Regiment. George was awarded a VC for his bravery at Guillemont on 31st July 1916. Apologies if I have missed the point. Tim
