    Matches against New South Wales in the 1920s were de facto matches against Australia, as serious Rugby in the other States had ceased during the war and didn't re-start until late in the decade. The Australian Rugby Union retrospectively awards international caps to the players involved, as did the Four Home Unions and France, but New Zealand didn't.
